• Depression

  • Depression is an extreme mood disorder that lasts over two weeks and in some cases, years. This can be onset by the birth of a child, transition into the winter months, or in combination with psychosis or bipolar disorder. It may cause intense symptoms that affect thinking, processing emotions, and handling daily life activities. We use cognitive behavioral therapy to identify core beliefs that may be blocking you and to assist you in recognizing and adopting more adaptive thoughts,  behaviors and physical activities that will reduce your depressed mood and increases a sense of mastery and optimism as well as to accentuate positive situations and opportunities in your life. With time, you can increase awareness of the multitude of things that are going well for you and watch the improvement in your mood and worthiness.
